Heather Lucks Out: Locklear A No Show In Court As Case Gets Continued

RadarOnline.com learned exclusively a judge agreed to continue Heather Locklear’s court hearing for another two months after her attorneys said they are still waiting for medical records that could shed some light into the former Melrose Place star’s criminal case.

Locklear did not show up for the Thursday, June 7 hearing at Ventura County Superior Court, but one of her attorney’s, William Haney, appeared on the actress’ behalf. Locklear, 56, has pleaded not guilty to four misdemeanor counts of battery on a peace officer and one misdemeanor count of resisting arrest stemming from a Feb. 25, 2018 incident at her Thousand Oaks, Calif. home.

The troubled actress, who initially told deputies, who respondent to the 911 call to her house, that her boyfriend, Chris Heisser, and her got into a fight. She said Heisser tried to “choke” her, but when authorities tried to get more details from Locklear, the actress allegedly threatened the deputies and kicked one of them.

According to a search warrant obtained by RadarOnline.com, Locklear’s “erratic, aggressive behavior toward law-enforcement,” had deputies fearful for future actions and they wanted to remove a gun, a Smith and Wesson .38 revolver, from her home. Investigators, however, found no gun in Locklear’s house. Haney has said Locklear has not owned a gun in many decades.

Locklear has been out of jail on $20,000 bond and quickly went into treatment after her February arrest.

Haney and Locklear’s other attorney, Blair Berk, filed a motion on June 6 to continue Locklear's pre-trial conference hearing. In the motion, Haney said Locklear “sought treatment at a medical facility soon after her arrest. I am confident that records and the analysis of her treating physicians shall directly relate to matters under consideration by the Court.”

Ventura County Senior Deputy District Attorney Thomas Dunlevy objected to the motion to continue the case, but Judge Nancy Ayers agreed to push back Locklear’s pre-trial hearing to August 9.
