Heather Locklear's Arrest Nightmare: Star Ditched Detox Early, Came Home 'Wasted'
Heather Locklear's arrest last night came on the heels of detox disaster, RadarOnline.com can exclusively report.
Just one week after she was rushed to the hospital for threatening to shoot herself and attacking her parents, the former Melrose Place star checked into a five-day detox in Los Angeles — but only stayed two days! Even worse, she came home "wasted," a source told RadarOnline.com.
On Friday, June 22 — just two days after she was released from her 5150 psychiatric hold — the actress, 56, arrived at a detox center to get help, the source claimed.
"It was supposed to be a full five days and nights," the source explained to RadarOnline.com.
But to her family's horror, she showed up back to her Westlake Village home "wasted" on Sunday, June 24.
"She showed up in the morning. She was supposed to be detoxing so everyone was shocked to see her home — and drunk!" the source said.
The day went downhill from her unexpected homecoming.
As RadarOnline.com reported this morning, cops were called twice to Locklear's house on Sunday. After an initial call at 6 pm, cops returned five hours later to find the "extremely intoxicated" star in an argument.
She "punched" a responding officer in the "chest and stomach," Ventura County Sheriff's Department Captain Mike Beckett told RadarOnline.com exclusively.
Then, she "kicked" an emergency response personnel, the officer claimed.
Locklear remains in jail this morning on $20,000 bail.
This isn't the first time she's been accused of beating a police officer. Locklear recently pleaded not guilty to beating a police officer in February, and will return to court for the case on August 9.
She finished a two month stint in rehab in April — but clearly sobriety didn't stick.
