Scientology Gunning For Bindi Irwin As The Cult's Next Celeb Poster Child & Recruiter
RadarOnline.com learned exclusively cunning schemers at the controversial Church of Scientology want to snare the popular daughter of the late Crocodile Hunter Steve Irwin — and use the bubbly teen as a recruitment tool!
“I can tell you with certainty that Scientology wants Bindi Irwin as their next celebrity poster child and recruiter!” said former Scientology Celebrity Center operative Steven Mango.
Mango, an aspiring actor, was literally once a poster boy for the church himself — his face was splashed on promotional posters and brochures during his four years in the church from 2008 through 2011.
He attended networking seminars, fancy galas and worked alongside the cult’s highest-ranking members — including “Cheers” alum Kirstie Alley.
“Scientology promised everything imaginable to help launch my career,” Mango said. “Little did I know, they were all empty promises used to get my credit card number and ultimate devotion.”
Today, Mango is a whistle-blower exposing the cult’s darkest practices.
“Scientology wants Bindi because she is a positive role model who does charitable works,” Mango exclusively told RadarOnline.com. “She’s also Australian and the church NEEDS greater recruitment Down Under!”
The country’s Bureau of Statistics backs up Mango’s claim, indicating Scientology has fewer than 2,000 members in Oz.
“You couldn’t ask for a better poster girl for recruitment than the beautiful daughter of a lost and beloved national figure,” dished another Scientology source.

Steve’s death in 2006 would also be heavily leveraged in the church’s attempts to lure 19-year-old Bindi, according to Mango.
“His passing was tragic, especially to Bindi,” Mango said. “This would be something Scientology recruiters would exploit.
Steve’s death would be what they call, Bindi’s ‘ruin.’ Your ruin in Scientology is the one thing that if fixed or ‘handled,’ would change your life.
“They would promise to help her do that.”
But a source close to the Irwin family reported to RadarOnline.com that Bindi’s mother, Terri, who is openly and devoutly Christian, “would never let her kids anywhere near the organization.”
