On the eve of a sold-out opening weekend at Westgate Las Vegas, singer Barry Manilow has been hospitalized and diagnosed with a bronchial infection, RadarOnline.com can confirm.

“I can’t believe this is happening, “ Manilow, 74, said in a statement. “Our new show is ready, we’re all ready, and we were all looking forward to tonight.”

The singer is being closely monitored by doctors, and He is expected to be released in a few days.

“The entire Westgate family wishes Barry a speedy recovery and we know that he will dazzle audiences when his show resumes on June 21,” said David Siegel, Westgate Resorts’ Founder & CEO.

As RadarOnline.com previously reported, Manilow has looked pin thin in recent months, and friends were concerned about his health.

In February 2016, he was rushed to the hospital for surgery complications.
