‘I’m Not Racist!’ Roseanne Blames Michelle Obama For Show Cancellation
Two days after ABC cancelled Roseanne Barr’s hit show, Roseanne, the actress is still going on about her racist tweet, defending her views and insulting countless minorities in the process.
This Wednesday night, a right-wing activist tweeted that Michelle Obama reportedly pushed ABC head honchos to cancel the series. Barr, 65, retweeted his comment, writing to her followers: “You guys make me feel like fighting back.”
The star — who compared former Obama advisor Valerie Jarrett to “Muslim brotherhood & planet of the apes” — then went on to defend her insensitive remark.
“I'm not a racist, I never was & I never will be. One stupid joke in a lifetime of fighting 4 civil rights 4 all minorities, against networks, studios, at the expense of my nervous system/family/wealth will NEVER b taken from me,” she wrote.
To that, an angry Twitter user fired back: “Blaming others non stop without even a shred of honest introspection works for Trump (for now) but glad to see the majority of this great nation pushes back against extremists / racists. Get well. Seriously, I wish you get help support and love.”
Furious, Barr replied: “I blamed myself-repeatedly until your kind started on some kind of crusade bc I had the balls to apologize-your kind smelled blood in the water & keep circling. learn to accept apologies-decent ppl do.”
Users then started retweeting a bizarre photo of Barr dressed as Hitler, serving a plate of burnt cookies — which was meant to represent the Jews he murdered in gas chambers at German concentration camps.
Despite the backlash, Barr was unapologetic.
“Making fun of Hitler makes a Jew a racist? #antisemitism” she tweeted. “I spent the last 24 hours watching the party of inclusion, diversity, understanding, and acceptance, lynch a Jew,” she added, referring to herself.
“Can you all help me get more followers here? The more I have the more my words will have weight. I am a fighter 4 FAiRNESS in all aspects of US life. I am tired of being smeared-over a stupid mistake erasing 30 yrs of activism,” she added.

The disgraced actress — who fired back at every angry social media user she could — also voiced her disbelief at the criticism coming her way.
“Most of the ppl calling me racist r white,” Roseanne Barr tweeted. “I apologized to my castmates. And to African Americans.”
In the end, Barr stuck to the idea that she made a bad joke while “Ambien-tweeting” and everyone made too big a deal about it.
“I wrote about 12000, 000 jokes-most are good. Like every other comic, some r bad-but, bad jokes do not define a comedian's life,” she wrote during her bizarre Twitter rant.
As RadarOnline.com readers know, Barr’s ex-husband, Tom Arnold, spoke to CNN and The Hollywood Reporter this Wednesday to tell all on Barr’s wild behavior. During his talks, the former bouncer claimed he could see the actress’ racist outburst coming, and that she was “obviously” suffering from mental illness.
