Pregnant Amber Portwood Goes Into Early Stage Of Labor!

Getting your Trinity Audio player ready...

Amber Portwood is going into labor.

On Saturday night, the Teen Mom OG star wrote via Twitter, "Another nocturnal night with my uncomfortable preggy belly but it's all worth it! I'm 3 cm dilated and home waiting for labor! Wonder if I'll make it to my due date? Wish me luck loves! Goodnight." Portwood, 27, included a clappy hands emoji at the end of her tweet.

A 3 cm dilation is generally seen as the early stage of labor, and as RadarOnline.com readers know, Portwood is expecting a boy with her boyfriend Andrew Glennon. It will be her second child as she already co-parents daughter Leah, 8, with former fiancé Gary Shirley.

Portwood and Glennon have already named their son James Andrew Glennon.

The MTV star announced she was having a boy on Twitter in December 2017.

"Little baby Glennon is on his way," she wrote. She also posted an image of a Christmas ornament with "It's a Boy" written on it and a newborn holding a stuffed animal.

Then in February, her Ob-Gyn also confirmed the sex of her baby in an episode of Teen Mom OG.

The show's fans have seen Portwood suffer medical woes during her second pregnancy.

"My morning sickness has been getting worse, so I went to the doctor and found out I have gestational diabetes," she said on an episode.

Recalling her first pregnancy with daughter Leah, Portwood admitted, "This pregnancy — I don't know if it's because I'm older — has definitely been a lot more rough."

Her beau Glennon asked her on camera, "Well, are you ready to change your diet?"

"Yeah, we gotta keep the baby healthy," a glum Portwood replied.

Gestational diabetes is a form of high blood sugar which can affect pregnant women.

As RadarOnline.com previously reported, Portwood recently blasted baby daddy Shirley and his wife for calling her an absentee mom with Leah!

But she's defended herself and is looking forward to her second child.

In April, the TMOG star shared an Instagram photo of herself at the doctor and put it side-by-side with a photo of her beau. In the photo, Glennon is preparing for fatherhood by reading a book about babies.

"Andrew reading his baby book and me making sure little James is a healthy boy!!," she wrote as a caption.

The formerly troubled reality personality, who was first featured on 16 and Pregnant in 2009, was sentenced to five years in jail in 2012 on drug possession charges stemming from a 2011 arrest. She was released after serving 17 months due in part to good behavior.

Portwood has spoken out about her mothering skills, writing on Twitter, "Some of you have so much to say about me but nothing to back it up! I'm an AMAZING mother who sacrificed my freedom to be sober for my daughter and family. None of you could make the decision I made to be incarcerated for a 5-year sentence just to be sober for my child!!"

She added, "I'm damn proud of myself and the changes I've made to be a better person."

Portwood, who had a tortured relationship with former fiancé Matt Baier, flaunted new man Glennon on the red carpet of the MTV Music Awards in August 2017. Glennon had worked behind the scene on the Marriage Boot Camp show that Portwood appeared on with her ex Baier. Soon, Portwood and Glennon announced she was pregnant!
