Jenelle's Road Rage Driver Tells All On Gun Fiasco: 'She Came Close To Getting Shot!'

The man involved in the gun road rage incident with Jenelle Evans told RadarOnline.com exclusively “she don’t know how close she came to getting shot!”

The wild Teen Mom 2 star called 9-1-1 on April 26, 2018 claiming a man tried to run her off the road, but he shared his version of the “scary” event with RadarOnline.com.

“It was something out of this world. I really couldn’t believe it,” he told RadarOnline.com. “It was a road rage incident, she lost her cool.” He described her driving, saying: “She was running on the outside lane, texting on her phone, when other cars would try to pass her she would speed up. I don’t think she realized how she was driving because she was on her phone.”

He said she was “break checking people and not letting people pass her. We backed off and let her go around and then she tried to block us all in,” so he slowed down to 20 miles an hour and turned onto his private property road in rural North Carolina and Evans followed him.

She drove down my dirt road, way down in the woods to my house. I didn’t know who was inside the car at the time. It could have been a carload of guys...the windows were tinted.”

The man told RadarOnline.com he called ahead to his family and warned them that something bad could be happening.

“We didn’t know and we had to treat it for the worst possible situation. My son was outside waiting in an azalea bush, he was armed, my wife was pulling in, she was armed, my cousin was out there and they were armed.”

He said at the point Evans rolled down her window and was cursing him out.

“She kept saying she was filming everything, she had three cameras, and I was ‘screwed.’”

The man described Evans holding a “chrome pink phone. She stuck it behind her side view mirror. She was purposely hiding something behind her phone. I couldn’t see what it was, I couldn’t see nothing but a set of hands.”

He told RadarOnline.com that his cousin, who is a law enforcement officer, saw Evans with the gun in her hands, which he told police according to the report from the incident obtained by RadarOnline.com.

“If she pulled that gun out she wouldn’t have made it,” he said. “She don’t know how close she came to getting shot!”

Evans then backed up and tried to turn around when she hit the man’s car and ran over three of his mailboxes, he told RadarOnline.com.

“When she turned off the road it spooked me. What I wouldn’t want to do is somebody to take me out.”

“If she brandished a firearm she wouldn’t be here today,” he told RadarOnline.com. “The best thing she ever done was not show us the gun.”

He said he was armed, but “I didn’t pull my gun, I left it in the truck. I was just trying to get to my house and she was saying no you ain’t.”

He revealed to RadarOnline.com that Evans told the officers that spoke to her that she followed him onto private property because her husband, David Eason, told her to.

“We done took measures, if that son of a gun comes in here he won’t make it out,” he warned. “And you can come film that.”

The man told RadarOnline.com he saw a little boy in the front seat of the car once they were on his property and he looked scared.

“That’s what made me so mad after it was over, the risk she put that little boy in. And there were kids playing on that road. She put them all in danger.

“I don’t know her that well and I don’t think that much of her.”

In the recording exclusively obtained by RadarOnline.com, Evans gave her version of the incident.

“He was tailgating me the whole way, I had my son in the car because my son was at therapy. He’s been tailgating me the whole time in traffic. Would not stop. Then he races in front of me and purposely slammed on the brakes at 70 something miles an hour,” she said.

The MTV star told the operator her name was Jenelle Eason and described the rest of the situation without mentioning the gun.

“This guy is trying his hardest for me not to behind him anymore. He is literally going crazy, swerving in and out of lanes.”

Evans told the 9-1-1 operator that she was calling from her son’s phone because “He made me slam on the brakes so hard that my phone went flying. My son, his head almost got whiplash and almost hit the dash. That’s how bad I had to slam on the brakes.”
