Chelsea Houska's good friend Alex Bawek was arrested on attempted child rape charges in December 2017. Although the Teen Mom 2 star has stayed silent on the scandal, RadarOnline.com can exclusively reveal her best friend and his wife Brittnee is standing by him.

"Right after that happened with her husband, she said she was sticking with him," a source close to the couple told RadarOnline.com. "I don't know if that's changed since."

Brittnee, who was pregnant at the time of the shocking arrest, likely gave birth to their first child, as the insider revealed she was "due in April."

A clerk for Lincoln County Court in South Dakota confirmed to RadarOnline.com that neither Brittnee nor Alex have filed for divorce.

Alex was charged with use of a computer to facilitate child sex crime, child enticement and attempted sexual assault of a child under 16 years of age on December 6, 2017.

In the complaint obtained by RadarOnline.com, a detective from the Atloona Police Department responded to a Craigslist ad posted by Bawek.

"Business stud seeking female or select couple… I am staying in town for the night for work," the ad read. "Have a nice hotel room and would like to have a little warm fun while it's cold out? No endless emails or games. Again seeking female or couple that likes to have discreet hot fun. Be clean and normal."

The detective responded to the ad and posed as a 14-year-old girl named "Arianna." The officer wrote to Bawek, "Hey. I like your ad. How r u… I'm 14. Is it ok to talk?"

Bawek replied, "As long as you're not the police. Talking is fine."

The officer sent Bawek a photo of an underage girl. He responded to the picture, "Nice, You're cute." He then sent her a photo of himself.

"Being you're 14 just makes me nervous," he wrote to her. "Don't want to get set up by police. When you finished with class. Want to come to hotel after? Well if you want to play with my c**k you're more than welcome to… You haven't ever had sex?"

He then asked her for "sexy pics" so he could see her "goods." The officer sent a photo of an underage girl in a bikini. "I'd love to have you wrap your lips around my big c**," he told her.

When he went to pick her up, police made contact with him. He admitted he was there to meet an underage girl.

Bawek plead not guilty to the charges against him during an April 30 court hearing. He faces between 20 to 40 years in prison for each count.

The couple got married in July 2016. In October, they announced they're expecting their first child.

Both have deactivated their social media accounts. Houska has not responded to the scandal. Brittnee appeared on the season premiere of Teen Mom 2.
