Sick Slender Man Teen Describes Stabbing Victim: ‘All I Could Hear Was Screaming’
April 30 2018, Updated 11:45 a.m. ET
Morgan Geyser has been sentenced to 40 years in a mental institution after stabbing her friend 19 times when she was just 12-years-old. Now, RadarOnline.com has obtained the five-hour-long interview from police, that reveals a very disturbed individual who plotted to kill her friend in order to appease the fictional character, Slenderman.
In the interrogation room with a Waukesha, Wisconsin detective, Geyser seemed more annoyed that cops caught her than shaken at the fact that she had just attempted murder.
"I'm in here because we were careless," Geyser admitted. "I knew this would happen. I knew we'd get in trouble."
Geyser, her accomplice, Anissa Weier, and victim, Payton Leutner, had a sleepover right before the stabbing. That would be the plan all along.
"Why did you think it was your sleepover night that this would happen?" the detective asked.
"Because we would all be together," Geyser revealed. "It was a flawless plan actually."
Leutner was found in the woods laying motionless on the ground on May 31, 2014, when a man on a bike discovered her as he was passing by.
"Why did you guys go down to the woods?" the detective then asked.
"Because we know what we had to do," Geyser said. "We led her there and tricked her. The last thing she said to me was, 'I trusted you.' And then she said 'I hate you.'"
"We told her we were going to go birdwatching," Geyser added. "People who trust you become very gullible, and it was sort of sad."
Geyser described the moment she went ballistic and began stabbing Leutner over and over and over again. Weier had called Geyser by her nickname, Kitty, telling her to do it because she could not bring herself to.
"So when Anissa said 'Kitty now' what did you do?" the detective asked.
"We stabbed her... it's sort of confusing, because I've been trying to block out the screams all day," Geyser said.
"She shoved it into my hand. And there it was. And then I didn't know what I did. It sort of just happened. It didn't feel like anything, it was like air," Geyser said while curling her fist and stabbing the air.
"So she put the knife in your hand and what did you do?" the detective pressed.
"Then I continued to.." then Geyser made several other stabbing motions in the air.
Following the stabbing, Leutner began to scream that she couldn't see.
"I said 'I'm sorry. This had to happen to you. It was necessary. I can't explain why,'" Geyser recalled. "It happened very quickly. All I could hear was screaming."
Fortunately, Leutner survived after spending six days in the hospital recovering.
