Katy Perry And Orlando Bloom Meet Pope Francis At The Vatican In Rome

Katy Perry ditched any outrageous outfits to meet Pope Francis in Rome.
The 33-year-old singer wore a conservative black dress and hat for her celebrity audience with the pontiff.
She was accompanied by her devoutly religious parents plus her boyfriend Orlando Bloom, 41.
The famous singer looked delighted to meet the Pope at the Vatican.
The meeting came at the fourth annual conference in honor of the Unite To Cure Conference which gathers experts in health, entertainment, media and technology.
The three-day international conference - which runs from Thursday to Saturday - discusses the effects of new technology on society and culture.
Representatives for faith-based organizations were in attendance and discussed topics including virtual reality and improving health care in less developed areas.
No doubt she had plenty to talk about with the Pope and she seemed to be humbled by the experience.
The trip comes as a welcome bring for Perry as producers consider canceling American Idol because of poor ratings.
