Burned By Divorce! Giada De Laurentiis Turns Down Boyfriend's Marriage Proposal
April 11 2018, Updated 11:56 a.m. ET
Marriage-shy Giada De Laurentiis refuses to jump out of the frying pan into the fire!
The Food Network star has said “no” to beau Shane Farley’s marriage proposal — after her ex-hubby walked away with half her $20 million fortune in their divorce, sources told RadarOnline.com.
“Giada loves Shane and they have a lot in common. But she’s committed to concentrating on her career and her daughter, Jade!” snitched an insider.
Giada, 47, and Shane, 45, first hooked up in 2015 after both their marriages ended.
Now Giada and ten-year-old Jade refer to TV producer Shane as “family!”
“The three of them are together constantly!” our source spilled. “It’s like they are a family.”
But sources close to the kitchen queen claimed she’s gun-shy about marriage after her divorce from fashion designer Todd Thompson.
“Giada’s split from Todd cost her a fortune,” the source revealed. “She had to hand over her beloved Pacific Palisades mansion to the tune of $3.2 million, plus $300,000 in art and furnishings. Then she gave up another $3.2 million for Todd’s share of her Feel Good Foods, and $757,000 for her pasta products brand.”

Todd also received 50 percent of advances from her cookbooks, and
$1 million in cash!
Giada was also ordered to fork over $9,000 a month in child support — even though they share custody!
“Giada may change her mind in the future,” a spy added. “But for the time being, marriage is out of the question. She likes things
the way
they are.”
