Bill Cosby Defense Calls Sex Assault Accuser 'Pathological Liar' In Closing Arguments
Bill Cosby's defense called his accuser a "pathological liar" scheming for a big payday after prosecutors portrayed the 80-year-old as a serial predator who drugged and molested a woman 14 years ago.
In closing arguments of his sexual assault retrial on Tuesday, the defense urged jurors to acquit, saying the charges were based on "flimsy, silly, ridiculous evidence."
Defense attorneys Tom Mesereau and Kathleen Bliss argued the main accuser Andrea Constand voluntarily had sex with the shamed star and then threw false accusations against him so she could sue him and extract a big settlement.
"You're dealing with a pathological liar, members of the jury," said Mesereau, who won an acquittal in Michael Jackson's 2005 child-molestation case. "You are."
When it was the prosecutors turn to argue, the ripped Cosby as a "con" who is "nothing like the image that he played on TV." Prosecutor Kristen Feden told jurors in her closing argument: "In fact, he utilized that image and cloaked it around himself so that he could gain the trust, gain the confidences of these aspiring, unsuspecting women."

Feden also called out Cosby for smirking during her presentation.
"This is his con, and he's laughing like it's funny, but there's nothing funny about stripping a woman of her decency," Feden said. "There's nothing funny about that, Mr. Cosby."
As RadarOnline.com readers know, Cosby, 80, was famously accused of raping and drugging former Temple University employee, Andrea Constand, in 2004. After she came forward with her claims, over 60 other alleged victims accused the former actor of sexual harassment and misconduct.
Supermodel Janice Dickinson was just one of the women who accused Cosby of sexual assault. She was also one of five alleged victims who testified in his April 12 retrial.
Bill Cosby previously called Dickinson a liar, and claimed his sexual encounter with Constand was entirely consensual. His case has yet to be finalized.
