Abby Lee Miller’s incarceration at FCI Victorville is coming to an end, as RadarOnline.com has exclusively learned that the 52-year-old Dance Moms diva is being transferred from prison to a nearby halfway house in less than a month!
“Abby Lee doesn’t know this yet, but they have decided to transfer her to a halfway house in Van Nuys, Calif., on April 18,” a Victorville insider said.
According to the BOP website, Miller’s formal release date is set for May 25. But that does not mean that she will be completely free by any means.
“When she is released by from the BOP, that is not the end of her sentence. Once she leaves Victorville, Abby Lee will be on supervised release at home which is also called mandatory parole, for one to three years,” a source said previously, adding that Miller, “will have a probation officer who can come to check on her at home or at work or wherever they want at any given time.”
As fans know, Miller — who is serving a 366 day prison sentence after being convicted on federal charges that included fraud and money laundering — was supposed to be transferred to a halfway house last month. However, the transfer never materialized due to overcrowding.
Miller initially checked into prison in July.
