Carrie Underwood Doesn't Show Her Injured Face In New Photo Post

Getting your Trinity Audio player ready...

Carrie Underwood has posted a new photo on Instagram in which she is NOT showing her face which was injured recently in a freak accident!

The country singer, 34, shared a picture of herself with fans; she was exercising with her son Isiah, 2, and both were doing squats.

"My boys make work outs fun (and a bit less productive, but that's ok)!" Underwood captioned the shot.

Although the photo was adorable, it also could cause concern as the star has been recovering from a fall she took in November 2017. The accident at home left Underwood with 40 to 50 stitches on her face and a broken wrist.

I told her social media followers afterwards, "In addition to breaking my wrist, I somehow managed to injure my face as well. I'll spare you the gruesome details, but when I came out of surgery the night of my fall, the doctor told husband Mike Fisher that he had put between 40 and 50 stiches in." She added that she is "still healing" and "not quite looking the same."

Now, four months later, it seems Underwood is still not ready to put her face forward as the new photo only shows her working out from behind.

Another picture shows her hockey star hubby, 37, who recently announced he was coming out of retirement, doing a push-up with Isaiah. Underwood is missing from that photo.

Fisher has stuck by his wife's side as she recovered from her devastating injuries. But he will return to the Nashville Predators to play hockey again after retiring for only five months.

Meanwhile, fans are praying that the "Jesus Take the Wheel" singer and American Idol winner's face will be fine.

Underwood candidly admitted on social media about her surgeries, "There has been much uncertainty as to how things will end up. It's crazy how a freak random accident can change your life."

In another photo she took after the accident, Underwood had wrapped her face in a scarf to hide her injuries.
