Meghan Markle Steals The Photo Spotlight From Kate Middleton

Meghan Markle is stealing the photo spotlight from Kate Middleton, a body language expert has concluded. Now will former actress Markle's bold style next to Middleton's demure gaze send them into a royal rivalry?

Judi James told Cosmo about Prince Harry's fiancée, 36, "Meghan's habit of doing what is called 'camera courting' (addressing the camera with a direct eye gaze), suggests a desire to communicate openly and confidently in the way that her peers would do via social media and blogs."

According to James, Prince William's wife Middleton's attitude towards the camera is far more passive.

She said, "The fact she has even got behind the camera herself to snap some of her children's' official photos suggests a slightly more introverted personality than the very camera-confident Meghan. Middleton, 36, and pregnant with her third child by William, "poses beautifully but there is no regular direct communication from her," James said.

"She always smiles perfectly and she always looks positive but here have been no moments when she has been caught by the camera looking moody."

The body language expert also added that looking straight at the lens, like former Suits star Markle, can be pretty "risky" if you’re having a bad day--but it can also make her seem "more accessible" to the public.

Recently, as RadarOnline.com reported, rumors began flying about The Duchess of Cambridge and Markle's icy relationship and Middleton's supposed desire not to be photographed with Harry's bride-to-be.

"Kate isn’t rushing to get the shot," said a source about the royal wife, who has suffered pre-partum illness in all her pregnancies.

But a big photo op finally happened over the holidays as Kate, William, and Queen Elizabeth gave Markle a warm welcome at Christmas. Photographers went nuts as they got smiling shots of William and Kate and Harry and Meghan walking together bundled up in holiday clothes. Again, however, Markle appeared to get the lion's hare of attention in her tan coat and hat.

Middleton had better get used to Markle being popular with the paparazzi. The ex-actress will wed Prince Harry on May 19 with enormous media coverage.
