‘Chicago P.D.’ Star Anabelle Acosta Files Lawsuit After Suffering ‘Serious Injuries’

RadarOnline.com can exclusively reveal that Chicago P.D. star Anabelle Acosta has filed a civil suit after she was involved in an accident, which she alleges resulted in property damage and serious personal injury.

The legal documents, filed on Jan. 3, detail her negligence claim against defendants Samuel Kaufman, Megan Hasz and their employer, the California Department of Corrections and Rehabilitation, among others.

Acosta alleged she was traveling northbound on Interstate 110 in Los Angeles on Feb. 8, 2017, when the accident occurred.

According to the papers, filed on Jan. 3, the “defendants owned and operated their vehicle negligently and carelessly,” which caused “property damage and personal injury” to Acosta.

The actress claimed that as a result of the accident she “sustained serious injuries and damages, costs of past and future medical treatment of such injuries, pain and suffering, and other consequential damages.”
