Busy Philipps Consoles BFF Michelle On Anniversary Of Heath Ledger's Death: 'It's Ok'

Busy Philipps is such a good friend! This Monday, the Cougar Town actress took a flight to be with BFF Michelle Williams on the tenth anniversary of Heath Ledger's death.

Philipps, 38, took to Instagram to share some sweet, emotional snaps of her with her heartbroken Dawson's Creek costar.

"It's ok," Philipps captioned a snap of Williams, 37, leaning on her shoulder.

"They're playing The Cranberries' 'Linger' here," she captioned another snap. Philipps' sweet message came after the group's lead singer, Dolores O'Riordan was found dead in her London hotel room just last week.

"I was just driving and I was thinking about my friend Heath who died 10 years ago and this song came on, 'Time to Pretend,'" Philipps said in one of her Instagram story videos. "It came out after he passed away and I remember when it came out, because I thought it made me think of him. I just thought he would have liked this song. And for some reason, every time I hear this song… it's weird."

As RadarOnline.com readers know, Ledger passed away of an accidental overdose ten years ago. He and Williams had just recently separated at the time of his unexpected death at age 28.
