Three days after the sad sudden death of Cranberries singer Dolores O'Riordan, her grieving boyfriend has spoken out.
“My friend, partner, and the love of my life is gone. My heart is broken and it is beyond repair,” DJ Olé Koretsky wrote in an emotional message on the Cranberries’ website.
“Delores is beautiful. Her art is beautiful. Her family is beautiful,” he continued. “The energy she continues to radiate is undeniable. I am lost. I miss her so much. I will continue to stumble around this planet for some time knowing well there’s no real place for me here now.”
As RadarOnline.com has learned, Koretsky was working on a musical collaboration with his now-deceased girlfriend. The project was called D.A.R.K., and was being made with the help of ex-Smiths bass player Andy Rourke.
Rourke also voiced his sadness over O’Riordan’s death, by sharing a touching message on the band’s site. “I am heartbroken and devastated by the news of the sudden and unexpected passing of Dolores,” he wrote.
“I have truly enjoyed the years we spent together and feel privileged to call her a close friend,” he added. “It was a bonus to work with her in our band D.A.R.K. and witness firsthand her breathtaking and unique talent. I will miss her terribly. I send my love and condolences to her family and loved ones.”
As RadarOnline.com readers know, Dolores O’Riordan was found dead in her London hotel room this past Monday. She was 46 at the time of her “unexplained” passing.
Though the singer battled with anxiety, depression, and back problems for years before her sad demise, investigators have yet to reveal the true reason for her untimely death.
