Matt Lauer’s Wife Consults Divorce Lawyers

So much for happy holidays! Matt Lauer’s wife of nearly 20 years, Annette Roque, is reportedly consulting lawyers in the likely event they divorce.
Page Six reported that a “grim-faced” Roque was spotted at the Manhattan law offices of Latham & Watkins on Dec. 20.
This wouldn’t be the first time the Dutch former model has filed for divorce from Lauer. She split with her husband in 2006, claiming at the time she suffered “mental abuse, extreme mental and emotional distress, humiliation, torment, and anxiety” during their marriage.
The two later called off the divorce after Lauer, who turns 60 on Dec. 30, reportedly offered Roque a pre-nuptial agreement in exchange.
He may not be so lucky this time around, however.
“The post-nup will likely specify how much Annette would get if they divorce, but she is expected to challenge it given Matt’s earnings since 2006, and given how he has humiliated her,” a source told Page Six of Lauer, who was pulling in a whopping $25 million a year when he was fired.

“There are also issues over all the property and land they own, both in the Hamptons and abroad.”
As RadarOnline.com Online.com reported, the disgraced journalist was recently canned from Today after NBC found grounds their star anchor had displayed “inappropriate sexual behavior” at work, including with young production staffers.
Roque’s father recently insisted his son-in-law was history in Roque’s eyes.
“I have no words for her husband. What he has done is bad. Everybody feels betrayed,” Henri, 76, said. “She is not going to stay with him and work it out. They are not together trying to work it out.”
