They were best of friends in real life and now they could be close in death.
Reports have surfaced that Linkin Park's Chester Bennington could be laid to rest beside Chris Cornell at Hollywood Forever cemetery.
The plot next to the former Soundgarden frontman is available and speculation is mounting that the two friends could be placed beside one another.
Tragically Bennington sang "Hallelujah" at Cornell's funeral before he took his own life this week.
Bennington may have mimicked Cornell's suicide after he hanged himself at his Los Angeles home.
The popular singer also killed himself on what would have been Chris' 53rd birthday.
Hollywood Forever is a famous resting place – stars including Judy Garland, Mickey Rooney and rockers Dee Dee Ramone and Johnny Ramone are all there among many others.
