George Clooney’s twins already have their biggest fan: Grandma!
Amal Clooney’s mom, Baria Alamuddin, says meeting Ella and Alexander overwhelmed her with “pure joy.”
“Seeing these two angels, these stunningly beautiful babies, cuddled together, and seeing the joy on Amal and George’s faces, it’s one of those deeply felt beautiful feelings you can’t express in words,” Alamuddin told People.
RadarOnline.com readers know that Amal gave birth to the boy and girl earlier this week. The couple shared the news in a statement.
“This morning Amal and George welcomed Ella and Alexander Clooney into their lives. Ella, Alexander and Amal are all healthy, happy and doing fine,” a rep for the couple said. “George is sedated and should recover in a few days.”
All jokes aside, Alamuddin, who also has six other grandkids, says mom and dad instantly took to their new job as parents.
“Oh my god, Amal and George were so beautiful,” she said. “They were so happy, so contented. You just look at them and you feel like they’ve been a mother and father for their whole lives.”
