Amber Portwood has finally kicked Matt Baier to the curb – and she’s telling all on their toxic relationship! The Teen Mom OG star admitted her ex-fiancé is controlling and a pathological liar during the Unseen Moments special.
On the special, a never-before-seen clip played of Baier holding onto Portwood’s license. She revealed that not only has he kept her license in his wallet for two years, but he also takes care of her bills.
“He took it upon himself,” she said. “I realized it in the last few months that I’m not going to do that anymore. I’m going to take control of a lot more stuff.”
Her co-star Maci Bookout called his behavior “controlling” and “scary.”
Portwood went on to call Baier a “pathological liar.”
“He needs help,” she said. “If he wants this relationship to work he needs to change his lying.”
Baier, 46, has a history of lying. He initially told Portwood that he has two children from a previous relationship. But RadarOnline.com extensively reported that he has at least nine children with seven different women. Five women sued Baier for overdue child support payments in an Indiana court, but the cases have been dismissed.
Baier denied reaching out to Teen Mom stars Farrah Abraham and Jenelle Evans over Twitter before settling for Portwood. He later claimed a friend reached out to the MTV stars.
Baier, who is a former addict, claimed in an interview to People that he suffered a relapse in December and was taking a “good amount of pills.”
On a recent episode, Baier gave co-star Catelynn Lowell a Xanax for her anxiety. When Portwood dumped him because he’s supposed to be sober, he claimed a friend gave it to him just in case Portwood needed it for the plane.
Portwood broke off their engagement in May after sources revealed to RadarOnline.com that he failed a lie detector test about cheating on her.
Portwood continued on the special that she would be “dead” without therapy because of what Baier has put her through.
“I go to a therapist and it helps me vent and be calm and cope with everything going on in my life,” she said. “Without it I would be dead with all the bullshit going on right now. I would definitely be gone. I need my alone time. It felt good to be alone and be with my cousin and family. They’re embracing me even though I pushed them away for a long time.”
Portwood added that she’s willing to “move forward” with Baier if he’s willing to “change everything.”
As RadarOnline.com reported, Portwood and Baier are in Los Angeles to film for the upcoming season of Marriage Bootcamp: Reality Stars.
