'This Is Us' Star Justin Hartley Failed To Pay Rent, Once Owed $17K In Taxes

Justin Hartley may be rich and famous on This Is Us, but before getting his big break on the hit show he was broke! RadarOnline.com can exclusively reveal the actor's money troubles over the years.
Hartley, 39, was hit with a state tax lien for $17,417.99 in May 2010 for not paying his taxes in 2007.
Hartley, who plays actor Kevin on the drama, paid the debt off later that month.
But his money troubles didn't start there. In October 2004, his landlord sued him for residential unlawful detainer when he failed to pay $2,358.81 in rent.
"The landlord was asking for the person to move out," the clerk for the Van Nuys Courthouse East exclusively told RadarOnline.com. "He sued because he hadn't paid rent."
According to the clerk, the landlord failed to file a money judgment against the actor. Because too much time had passed, the case was disposed and destroyed in 2014.
