Scheana Shay skipped town after filing for divorce, RadarOnline.com has learned!
The Vanderpump Rules star revealed on Snapchat that she was headed to Las Vegas with her mom, Erika, sister, Cortney, and another friend yesterday, and immediately let loose upon her arrival.
Meanwhile, her soon-to-be ex Mike shared a photo from a bar, despite his sobriety claims.
A source close to the couple revealed to RadarOnline.com exclusively that Scheana, 31, has been relying on her friends and family now more than ever.
"She's having a hard time," the source said. "She thinks it's for the better. She's trying to focus on being with her girlfriends and hanging with friends she's known for years who don't really judge her opposite of the show."
"She's been spending a lot of time with her mom and sister," the insider added. "Her mom is very empowering of her and she's been going to a lot of events with her like every week, every red carpet. They're all just trying to be there for her and step up and do what they need to do."
The insider explained that she "fought hard for her marriage to work" despite Mike's substance abuse problems, and even asked his family to help intervene. When they shut her down, she felt like she was left with no other choice but divorce.
"Mike Shay knew it was coming," the insider said. "He knew he wasn't stepping up and she kept telling him. And he just kept dragging his feet."
The insider added that rather than be motivated by Scheana hiring personal trainers and booking vacations for them, but he "wallowed in his sh*t and went into a bad place" as his wife became more famous.
"She did care about her husband," the insider said. "She does love Mike. She does hope the best for him as a friend, but she's done with the marriage. She couldn't handle it anymore."
