Tim Burton's Nightmare! Director Desperate To Win Back Helena Bonham Carter

RadarOnline.com has exclusively learned that Tim Burton is still struggling with the loss of his longtime ex-partner Helena Bonham Carter from his life and he's making one last bid to win her back.
"Tim's turned into a hermit and refused to travel, even to Hollywood to promote his recent movie," Miss Peregrine's Home For Peculiar Children, revealed a source.
"He just couldn't face that whole scene without Helena's wisdom and innate ability to see through fakery," the source explained.
The eccentric couple, who were together for 13 years and had two children, shocked Hollywood and fans when they split at the end of 2014.
"It is all-absorbing when a relationship breaks down, but I think we're coming through it," Bonham Carter said.
That may be true for the actress, but "Tim definitely would take her back if she'd have him," noted the source. "He's really struggling to move on from someone who gets him like she did."
Unfortunately for 58-year-old Burton, the prognosis for his relationship with Bonham Carter, 50, isn't very good.
"A reunion is never going to happen," insisted the source. "They lived in separate apartments for most of their marriage and she wants something more normal."
"She's tired of playing muse to Tim," added the source. "Friends are hoping Tim's futile attempt to win her back is just him feeling empty after a film's done."
