Two-time Survivor star Michael Skupin has been found guilty of possessing child porn, RadarOnline.com has learned.
Skupin, who appeared on Survivor in 2000 and 2012, was charged with twelve counts earlier this year, but found guilty on just four counts of possession of child sexually abusive materials today in Michigan.
He faces up to 16 years in prison at his December 27 hearing.
The Attorney General, Bill Schuette, blasted the former fan favorite in a blistering press release: "The children in these videos and images were exploited, and each time the images were shared and viewed continued their suffering," he wrote. "My hope is that today's conviction will bring some closure to the families and the children that are victims in this case. … He victimized innocent children every time he looked at a piece of child pornography. This man seems to have no concept or caring for right and wrong and will be prosecuted under the full extent of the law for these horrific crimes."
His secret dark side came to light, bizarrely, when an individual contacted the local news about what they believed to be an investment Ponzi scheme operated by Skupin.
As part of that investigation, his laptop was searched and cops found sexual images of underage children.
