In another shocking twist in the Sofia Vergara-Nick Loeb embryo lawsuit battle, the actress has demanded her former fiancé to reveal the names of two ex-girlfriends who had abortions 20 years prior, RadarOnline.com has learned.

According to a new report in Page Six, a California judge upheld Vergara's request that 41-year-old Loeb name the exes who terminated their pregnancies.

Despite filing an appeal, the court has ruled in Vergara's favor, potentially forcing Loeb to comply. According to the publication, the 44-year-old's legal team hopes to question Loeb's exes as part of the trial, digging into his sexual past.

But Loeb won't go down without a fight.

"I would rather go to jail than reveal the names," he exclusively told Page Six. "I believe we have to protect a woman's right to privacy."

"Not only are Plaintiff's Loeb's privacy rights under attack but so are the rights of third-party individuals who have nothing to do with Loeb's relationship with Ms. Vergara, the embryos or the litigation," read Loeb's heavily redacted petition, claiming Vergara's legal actions were "an attempt to harass third parties to obtain testimony."

As RadarOnline.com readers know, the Modern Family beauty and her ex have been embroiled in the fierce public battle over two embryos they froze in 2013 for some time now, as Loeb aims to retrieve the embryos, use a surrogate to deliver them, and raise the children on his own.

Meanwhile, Vergara and her current fiancé Joe Manganiello are hoping to have a child of their own and the actress has been undergoing in vitro fertilization treatments.

"A child needs a mother and a loving relationship with parents who don't hate each other . . . I wouldn't want to bring kids to the world where it's already set against them. It would be so selfish," Vergara previously said of the embryo battle.
