Robert Vaughn lived a wild life filled with sex and drugs before his death at the age of 83. RadarOnline.com can exclusively reveal the secrets the original Napoleon Solo tried to take to the grave!
While shooting the 1960 Western classic The Magnificent Seven in Mexico with legendary actor Steve McQueen, the co-stars fired up a joint on set of the flick.
When the men entered a house of ill repute, they were asked by the madam, "How many girls would you like?" Vaughn recalled.
"Steve said; 'SEVEN. We are The Magnificent Seven and we want seven girls'. Even though not all seven of us were there.'"
But the men had trouble with the bouncers when McQueen tried to pay with a credit card, forcing them to escape!
"Steve was notorious for never carrying money," Vaughn said. "I didn't know this as it was the first time we'd ever been out together. I jumped out the window and ended up climbing over a wall, and as I thought, 'This is the end for me.'"
Although he eventually kicked his alcohol and drug habit, he continued his romps with various women.
He even had a long-standing affair with Robert Wagner's late wife Natalie Wood and actress Judy Garland.
He could've had Zsa Zsa Gabor too, but he ditched her to go on a drinking binge with Richard Harris!
"Unfortunately, I didn't get a second chance with Zsa Zsa," he said. "There's definitely a sense of regret."
