Michael Jackson's ex-wife, Debbie Rowe, is fighting for her life after being diagnosed with breast cancer this past summer. But there has been a silver lining to the dark cloud that's moved over her life: RadarOnline.com has exclusively learned that Rowe's relationship with 18-year-old daughter, Paris Jackson, has grown in recent months, and she's been by her mom's side every single step of the way!
"Paris insists that Debbie is going to pull through this and she has been back and forth to see her mother several times a week," a source close to the Jackson family told Radar.
Although Paris and Rowe – also the mother of Paris's 19-year-old brother, Prince Jackson – were estranged for many years, the mother-daughter duo rekindled their relationship when Rowe was diagnosed in July.
"They are so close right now, but Katherine and Joe think it might be a double-edged sword," the insider said.
"They don't think that Paris is emotionally ready to handle the loss of her mother right now."
In a recent interview with Entertainment Tonight, Rowe said that her daughter was her biggest source of support.
"She's my rock, she's amazing. She's been with me the whole time. She was there. First phone call, it took her 30 seconds to reach out when she found out," Rowe said during her interview with the outlet.
Sadly, according to the insider, "Debbie is really struggling right now. Cancer has taken a hold and she is not in the clear just yet. She's having a really hard time dealing with the chemotherapy and other procedures, but she is holding up the best she can."
