Kyle Richards isn't taking the fall for her sister Kim's vicious dog! In court papers exclusively obtained by RadarOnline.com, The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star is blaming stylist Paige Elizabeth Sanderson for being viciously attacked by her sister's dog.
Sanderson sued the Bravo stars and Kyle's business manager Michael London after an attack by Kim's dog Kingsley left her hospitalized.
"Defendant was not a substantial factor in bringing about the injuries and damages allegedly sustained by the Plaintiff," Kyle's response to the lawsuit read, adding how Sanderson, "knowingly and voluntarily assumed the risk of the conduct, events and matter alleged in the subject complaint."
She explained how she is "not the owner, keeper or controller of the dog that allegedly caused Plaintiff's harm."
The stylist explained how Kim invited her to Kyle's home for a promotional event back in April. When Sanderson opened the bedroom door the pit bull was in, she locked herself in the bathroom because she feared for her safety.
The stylist went back into the bedroom when Kim assured her the dog wouldn't hurt her. That's when Kingsley "bit and held on to her lower abdomen and crotch, tearing off her leggings and underwear and ripping out portions of flesh." She claimed she went into shock and was bleeding profusely from the attack.
"Kim refused to call 911 unless Sanderson lied to the EMT by blaming the attack on a stray dog," the documents read, as Kim feared negative publicity after her dog attacked two others, including Kyle's daughter Alexia in 2014.
The stylist claimed Kim delayed medical attention and called London to drive her to the hospital. She also alleged Kim agreed to pay her medical bills if she lied about the attack.
Sanderson seeking damages for "emotional distress, cosmetic surgery and medical bills."
