Collin's Sad Thanksgiving: Kate Gosselin's Son Cannot Leave Treatment Facility
Not everyone in Kate Gosselin's big brood will be having a happy Thanksgiving.
The Kate Plus 8 star' 12-year-old son Collin, who is undergoing treatment in a facility far from home, will not be allowed to leave for the holiday, RadarOnline.com can exclusively report.
A spokesperson for the center — which RadarOnline.com has chosen not to name for privacy reasons — says patients must remain on site, though visiting hours will be extended.
Kate, 41, will be permitted to visit her troubled son between 2 to 4 pm.
However, it may be difficult for the mother of eight to make the two-hour trek from the family's Pennsylvania home, as children under 18 are not allowed during visiting hours, the facility's website indicates.
Fortunately, the spokesperson reveals, the pre-adolescent patients will celebrate with a Thanksgiving meal during lunchtime.

The reality TV star came clean about her troubled young son's stint away from home with a magazine cover story in August.
"Collin has special needs," Kate told People. "There's a fairly fluid diagnosis of what those needs are, but he needs to learn certain strategies to help him deal with things. This has been a struggle we've had for a very long time, and it's one I've dealt with on my own."
An insider told RadarOnline.com that Collin was in a treatment center outside Philadelphia, while other sources explained that the boy suffers from "anger issues."
Despite the painful family drama, Kate decided to film another season of the long-running TV hit, which premieres on November 22.
