Modern Pooch Battle! Sarah Hyland's Troubled Ex Wants To Take Her Dog 'Barkley Bixby'
More than two years after Sarah Hyland filed a restraining order against her ex-boyfriend, the Modern Family star's terrifying nightmare has returned.
As RadarOnline.com reported, Matt Prokop allegedly choked and verbally abused the actress before she took legal action in September 2014.
According to Los Angeles Superior Court documents obtained by RadarOnline.com, the former actor, 26, not only violently lashed out at her, but threatened to harm her beloved Maltipoo, Barkley Bixby.

"He made numerous menacing statements…about me and my dog," she wrote to the court.
But now, after happy Hyland, 25, moved on with 26-year-old British actor Dominic Sherwood, her troubled ex is speaking about his plans for revenge.
When a fan noted that he seemed "shady" for not making a public statement during the entire ordeal, Prokop made a rare reference to the restraining order scandal.
"I'm still trying to get my dog back," he wrote on Twitter. "Instead of making it random a** people's business, I stay quiet."
Fortunately for Hyland and Barkley Bixby's safety, the restraining order against Prokop does not expire until October 2017. (The order also forbids him from coming within 100 yards of the dog.)
Also, while the star continues to work and live in Los Angeles, Prokop seems to be back in his Texas hometown.
