According to Woman’s Day, Carey's Australian billionaire broke things off over the singer's spending habits and drama surrounding her new reality show, Mariah’s World.

“It’s all over,” a close family friend told the magazine.

“James had huge reservations about Mariah’s new reality TV show and the fact that she was willing to expose their lives to the world.”

The split isn’t surprising for the couple’s close friends and family, who have allegedly doubted it from the beginning.

And it’s not surprising to RadarOnline.com either!

Just last month, insiders claimed that the once hot-and-heavy couple was dangerously close to a breakup, just as they jetted off to Mykonos in a desperate attempt to salvage their relationship.

“The trip was a last-ditch effort to save their romance,” a source close to the couple told RadarOnline.com exclusively. “They’re struggling.”

At the same time, sources said, Carey’s diva behavior had become “just ridiculous during filming for her upcoming E! reality show.

Said the insider, “James does not want to be on her TV show, and it’s a sticking point. For now, the wedding is off, and they might break up altogether.”
