No wonder he's grumpier than ever!
Just one year after The Real Housewives of Orange County star Meghan Edmonds' disgruntled husband closed his St. Louis eatery The Precinct following a messy lawsuit, Jim Edmonds has shut down another restaurant, RadarOnline.com has learned.
According to local news, the retired St. Louis Cardinals player's business partner announced the permanent closure of their Kirkwood, Missouri, hot spot Winfield's Gathering Place in late June.
The restaurant officially shut down on July 2.
Perhaps related to the closing, Edmonds' partner, Mark Winfield, filed for bankruptcy last fall, the St. Louis Business Journal first reported in January.
In U.S. District Court documents obtained by Radar, Winfield claimed to owe $629,056 in "various loans" to Edmonds, 46, over ten years. Overall, he said he was a shocking $1.7 million in debt.
The case was discharged on July 25, and it's not clear if Winfield was ordered to pay off Edmonds.
Right now on the show, reality star Meghan, 31, who announced her pregnancy in June, is struggling through the IVF process without her seemingly uninterested husband by her side.
"I was really disappointed in Jimmy's lack of sentiment throughout my IVF process," she confessed on her Bravo blog last month. "And honestly, there were moments I was questioning if getting pregnant was even the right choice."
