Farrow Family Devastated: Son Dead At 27!
Sept. 22 2016, Updated 1:05 p.m. ET
Mia Farrow's fractured family has been rocked by a sudden tragedy: Her son, Thaddeus, has died at the age of 27.
According to reports, Thaddeus — who was paraplegic after contracting polio as a child — died as a result of an accident that took place in his car. No additional details have been released.
Mia previously bragged about Thaddeus's love for all things automotive. She said in 2006, "My son Thaddeus is paraplegic. To go through his day, most of us would be plenty pissed off and humiliated. But he can drag himself across the floor with such dignity, and still have his goal of fixing cars."

Mia adopted Thaddeus, who previously went by the name Gabriel, in 1994 from India. That was two years after her nasty custody battle with Woody Allen, and the investigation into allegations that he had molested their daughter Dylan — claims he still denies.
Her son Ronan has speaked out in support of sister Dylan's claims, but has yet to comment on the tragedy.
