EJNYC star Drew McNamara has entered rehab, RadarOnline.com has learned.
"He is currently in detox," a source close to the cast told RadarOnline.com, "for prescription drugs including Xanax, and alcohol addiction."
McNamara, aka Drew Mac, raised concern among fans with a series of cryptic tweets in the last week.
On September 9, the former Rich Kids of Beverly Hills star wrote, "If you can't take the heat, don't knock on the devil's door."
And September 10, he confessed, "Not really sure wtf is going on anymore."
Before that, he flaunted his alcohol use on social media:
Said the source, "He was battling prescription drugs and alcohol for awhile and towards the end of the show in NYC it showed." Indeed, on the final episode, Johnson asked his pal to go back to L.A. and get help.

"He checked in Tuesday nervous but happy to get the help he needs. Drew went willingly and is excited to focus on his music and upcoming album with a clear head post-treatment."
