Prince's sister Tyka Nelson, has been appointed special administrator of his $300 million estate, RadarOnline.com has learned.
As RadarOnline.com reported, she filed yesterday asking to be named the equivalent of executor in the absence of a will, and the judge granted her request in Minnesota this morning.
The iconic singer's millions are expected to be divided among his siblings, Alfred, Corrine, John, Sharon, and Omar. Omar was present for the hearing, but did not object.
Meanwhile, insiders told RadarOnline.com that a battle for the money is brewing behind the scenes.
"There's complete and utter chaos because Tyka isn't well versed in managing anything like this," an insider told RadarOnline.com. "But the other half siblings are even less equipped to deal with it!"
"Their interest lies in what artifacts and, of course, money they can get," the insider claimed.
Prince died at 57 in his Paisley Park home on April 21, of AIDS, The National ENQUIRER is reporting.
