'Teen Mom 2's Corey Thinks Producers Ignored Ex Leah's Drug Use, Refuses To Film Scenes

Unfortunately, Teen Mom 2 fans won't see much of Corey Simms this year.
The father of three, 26, and his wife, Miranda Patterson, will be getting much less screen time this season following a spat with MTV producers, RadarOnline.com can exclusively reveal.
On the reality series' last season, the couple was often shown fighting with his ex, Leah Messer, calling her a bad mom and a drug abuser.
Simms was furious with his portrayal as the show's angry villain, insiders tell RadarOnline.com.
"Corey feels MTV did him dirty," a friend of the West Virginia native explains, adding that Simms believes producers let pill-popping Messer, 23, off easy.
"He thinks they had the perfect opportunity to show viewers, 'This is what happens when you get on drugs, this is the reality.' Instead, they made it seem like Corey was constantly attacking Leah for no reason."
Of course, Messer was caught on camera slurring her words and even nodding off with her infant niece in arms, but Simms' pals insist her bizarre behavior was just the tip of the iceberg.
Still reeling from last season's debacle, Simms and Paterson refused to film regularly for this year's round of drama.
"Corey told MTV just what he thought about the situation, and said that he and Miranda would not film nearly as much as in past seasons," the friend reveals. "Producers understood."
However, viewers will see Simms and Messer fight over their 6-year-old twins, Ali and Aleeah, in a roller coaster custody battle. In October, Simms won primary custody of the girls, but as RadarOnline.com exclusively reported three months later, the co-parents called a truce and agreed to equal tim with their daughters following a civil mediation.
