Vanessa Hudgens definitely had a guardian angel looking over her last night when she delivered a solid performance as Rizzo On NBC's Grease: Live!
However, RadarOnline.com has exclusively learned that Hudgens – whose father Greg died at age 65 just hours prior to her reprising the iconic role – suffered a "hysterical breakdown" once the show was over.
"Everyone was really trying to just make sure that she was okay," an on-set source told RadarOnline.com.
As RadarOnline.com previously reported, Hudgens announced the passing of her father from Stage 4 cancer just hours before the show was set to begin.

Although the 27-year-old former High School Musical sweetheart had a substitute prepped to fill-in for her, the insider said, "she insisted on still doing this because her dad would want nothing more."
"Vanessa said that her dad really wanted to watch her do this because Grease was one of his favorite films of all time. She had to make him proud."
"Of course she was crying after the show wrapped," the source told RadarOnline.com. "But she was just surrounded by so much love and support that everyone knows she will get through this."
