At a January 20 hearing, the court determined that Portwood was served at her former residence instead of her new home, and was never actually notified. The collection agency's attorney plans to file an Alias Summons to her new address.

The MTV star, who as RadarOnline.com exclusively reported, now shares joint custody of her 6-year-old daughter, Leah, with ex-fiance Gary Shirley, had financial drama last year as well. She was hit with an eviction lawsuit, but fortunately the case was quickly dismissed when she paid off her rent debt.

Portwood is planning an October 2016 wedding to fiancé Matt Baier, 44.
