Sherri Shepherd Loses Appeal, Must Pay Child Support For Surrogate Son

Sherri Shepherd's attempt to separate herself from surrogate son with ex Lamar Sally has been denied.
The former View cohost had previously filed an appeal to remove her name from the baby Lamar Jr.'s birth certificate and avoid paying child support.
Shepherd currently pays $4,100 per month for her son, which will increase to $4,600 after he turns 13.
However, because Shepherd signed off and paid to have a baby via surrogate while she and Sally were still together, the court's decision to deny her appeal came as no surprise.
In the process, ex Sally has been very vocal about his disapproval of Shepherd's behavior, stating last year that she had "turned her back" on her own son.

Meanwhile, the former couple's surrogate, Jessica Bartholomew, has been waging war on the TV personality, claiming: "I wanted to help Shepherd because she couldn't have a child of her own, and it was supposed to be a beautiful thing — but it turned out to be a nightmare."
