The Real Reason Meghan Edmonds Decided To Go Back To Being Blonde

RadarOnline.com can exclusively reveal that Meghan Edmonds used a clever disguise to avoid getting noticed — her hair color!

"She colored it because she didn't want to be recognized," a source close to the Real Housewives of Orange County star reveals of how she used to avoid the wrath of Vicki Gunvalson supporters.

"Everyone hated her at the beginning of the season when she went up against Vicki, and she started noticing the stares," says the source.

As RadarOnline.com reported Gunvalson and Edmonds traded barbs over Brooks Ayers and whether or not he was lying about his cancer diagnosis.

"Now that the tables have turned, and a lot of people hate Vicki, she decided to go back to being blonde again."

And Edmonds even gave Gunvalson some free advice, says the source: "She told Vicki to dye her hair, it's a good disguise."
