Jim Bob Duggar Warns Christian Fathers To Remove 'Sensual Material' From Home
Nov. 23 2015, Updated 5:28 p.m. ET
Jim Bob Duggar's oldest son Josh may be in rehab for sex addiction while a porn star sues him for physical and emotional battery, but the former 19 Kids And Counting patriarch still has words of wisdom to impart on other Christian fathers.
In a letter to fans titled "Note to Fathers" on the family's official website, the 50-year-old father to 19 starts by reminding fans that all children are a "blessing" and gift from God.
He then offers advice to fellow dads— a position he calls "spiritual leader" and "coach of the home:" Ask Jesus for forgiveness, read the Bible, pray with your wife, and, of course, "protect" your family from "sensual material."
"Start protecting your family by removing books, magazines, television, or internet that have worldly or sensual content," he writes. "Replace them with good things like wholesome music, biographies of great Christians, good old-fashioned family fun and games."

If only Jim Bob had taken his own advice. As RadarOnline.com has reported, 27-year-old Josh confessed to cheating on his wife, Anna, and being addicted to pornography following bombshell claims that the right-wing political activist was a secret member of affair-seeking website Ashley Madison.
"While espousing faith and family values, I have secretly over the last several years been viewing pornography on the internet and this became a secret addiction and I became unfaithful to my wife," the father of four said in an August 20 statement.
He has been holed up in a Bible-based rehab center ever since.
