Vicki Gunvalson Takes Time Out From Brooks Ayers' Cancer Controversy With 'Detox Retreat' –– Thankful For 'Stress-Free Day' Amid Shocking Cast Blowups!

Vicki Gunvalson took a well-deserved getaway from the drama in the O.C. amid ex Brooks Ayers' cancer battle, with a "detox retreat" weekend in Santa Barbara, Calif.

"The O.G from the O.C." visited the Bacara Resort & Spa with a group of pals to take a break from the drama stemming from Ayers' fight for his life against non-Hodgkin's lymphoma -- and the skepticism from her Real Housewives of Orange County castmates that think he's faking it, most notably Meghan King Edmonds.

"Yoga, mediation, hiking, massage and healthy eating is what's in store for me this weekend," Gunvalson, 53, wrote in a post in which she posed with a group of friends, most notably Marisa Kenson, a fashion designer.

She later posted a photo of a healthy pre-hike breakfast she had before a hike, filling up on all-natural goodies such as strawberries and blueberries.

On Sunday, with the trip apparently having its desired effect, she wrote, "I love detoxing and spending this weekend with people that inspire me and believe in me. Thank you ladies for allowing me a stress free day."

As RadarOnline.com previously reported, Vicki has been at odds with nearly every castmate, as they've expressed serious doubt as to whether or not Ayers has been receiving medical treatments for the ailment.
