Ramona Singer Signs On For More 'RHONY' At Tiny Day Rate

Ramona Singer has bowed down to Bravo, RadarOnline.com has learned. In recent weeks, she had been putting up a fight with the network in the hopes of scoring a massive season contract for RHONY, but multiple sources confirmed that after Bravo wouldn't budge, Singer finally gave in and signed up for a daily shoot rate.
"Ramona signed the daily rate contract with Bravo and began filming on Oct. 29," a production insider told RadarOnline.com.
Unfortunately, Singer didn't get any financial perks for signing in this manner.
"She's not getting a big salary," a second source said. "She ended up having to go on a day rate so she only gets paid for days she films."
As RadarOnline.com first reported, Singer had originally banded together with Countess LuAnn de Lesseps and Sonja Morgan to demand they be given season contracts like Bethenny Frankel, Carole Radaziwill and Dorinda Medley.
But while Morgan and de Lesseps continue to hold out, Singer couldn't wait any longer.
"She got afraid and accepted a low ball offer just so she could make it on to the show," the source said. "She decided fame is more important than the money."
And it doesn't sound like the network is going to budge when it comes to the other two ladies, either.
"Bravo knows that they have the housewives where they want them — the women can reap the rewards of the show or disappear into oblivion because everyone knows the housewives don't do much after the show," the source said.
This position made Singer compromise her alliance with Morgan and de Lesseps.
"Ramona went behind LuAnn and Sonja's backs and signed anyway," the source said.
"It's been proven that the women would rather get paid nothing for the fame," the source concluded. "And Bravo got the publicity and what they needed."
UPDATE:
A source close to Singer told Rdaar, "Ramona is filming for season 8. She is very pleased with her contract and it’s even better than last year."
