When Lamar Odom was rushed to Desert View Hospital in the quiet town of Pahrump, Nevada on Tuesday afternoon, fellow patients were in for quite the surprise.

Pahrump resident Natasha, whose mother was also receiving treatment in the hospital yesterday, exclusively tells RadarOnline.com that the sleepy scene became chaotic upon the troubled NBA player's arrival.

"Everyone was buzzing about an overdose," Natasha, who declined to give her last name, tells RadarOnline.com. "It was the big talk of the waiting room."

She claims the father of two, 35, was eventually brought to a private area, where no other patients could see him.

Odom's situation was so dire, Natasha explains, that all doctors and nurses on the scene focused on his care.

"My mom didn't get treated until 10 p.m.," she claims.

As RadarOnline.com previously reported, Odom was later taken by ambulance to Las Vegas' Sunrise Hospital and Medical Center, where he remains in critical condition.

His ex-wife Khloe Kardashian, 31, is now by his bedside, sources tell RadarOnline.com.

Odom was initially discovered unconscious by two women at Dennis Hof's Love Ranch brothel in Crystal, Nevada, where he had been partying under the influence of pills and booze for three days.
