According to the Brown's conservator, Bedelia Hargrove, the late singer's boyfriend Nick Gordon murdered her with a deadly injection following a "violent altercation."

"Ms. Brown died due to a violent altercation with Defendant after which he placed her in a bathtub, unconscious, after he injected her with a toxic mixture," the Plaintiff's attorneys state in the Georgia Superior Court papers.

The relationship was tumultuous, the lawyers allege, and Gordon habitually beat his girlfriend.

Brown "was physically abused by the Defendant on numerous occasions," the documents state.

In her $10 million civil lawsuit against Gordon, Hargrove is begging the court to force the troubled 23-year-old to participate in gathering evidence for a trial.

"Defendant Nicholas Gordon has no problem giving an interview to Dr. Phil, but asks this court to relieve him of his legal responsibility…The motion is without merit," the attorneys claim.

They argue that he already participated in the case by answering questions and filing various motions.

In addition, they claim, he has publicly spoken about the case by giving a disastrous TV interview to Dr. Phil McGraw in March.

As RadarOnline.com has reported, Brown was found unconscious in the bathtub of her Atlanta-area home in January. She finally passed away on July 26 at just 22 years old.

Gordon has denied any wrongdoing in her death.
