She's Got Money, Honey! Porsha Williams Brushes Off Debt Claims, Source Suspects Costar Is 'Digging Up Dirt' As 'RHOA' Filming Begins
Porsha Williams isn't letting reports that she's deep in debt get her down.
After MediaTakeOut claimed The Real Housewives of Atlanta star, 34, "owes money all over Atlanta"— and that her Bravo checks are garnished by various creditors— a source close to Williams is exclusively speaking to RadarOnline.com to set the story straight.
"Porsha was basically broke when she walked away from her marriage. She didn't want anything from the divorce," the insider says, referring to the reality star's bitter 2013 split from husband Kordell Stewart, 42. "Some of those debts her husband was responsible for, but it all came back to her."
"Everyone makes mistakes and everyone has financial issues. Porsha is human, and is not ashamed of her past."
The Dish Nation hostess and Go Naked hair extensions founder is doing "great" now, the source insists, and even has two fashion projects in the works.
The source close to Williams suspects one of her costars is leaking stories as filming for the upcoming season begins.
"Someone is digging up dirt and looking to start drama," the insider explains. "Porsha is a great example of how you can get your life together and grow from any bad experience."
