Ben Affleck's spending summer's dog days at his 83-acre estate on Georgia's Hampton Island, amid the scandal surrounding his divorce and rumors he cheated with a nanny.

The Armageddon hunk, 42, recently sprung for a giant BBQ catered by Richmond Hill's Smokin Pig BBQ Joint, who "prepared barbecue and all the fixings for 35 people," sources told People.

Insiders told the magazine that Affleck's mother, Christopher Anne, has consoled him through the painful time following his split from Jennifer Garner, 43, who he has three children with: Violet, 9, Seraphina, 6, and Samuel, 3.

The Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice remains plagued by whispers he cheated with the couple's former nanny Christine Ouzounian, as insiders told RadarOnline.com this week that the stunner "was trying to seduce" the actor, and even "planning to get pregnant by" him.

The Academy Award-winner will remain in the Peach State for the foreseeable future, as he's slated to begin production on his next film, Live by Night, in three months in nearby Brunswick. Garner is also working in the area, working on her upcoming movie Miracles from Heaven.
