Caitlyn Jenner has become quite the fashionista in just a few short weeks since her Vanity Fair debut. The 65-year-old sparked a bidding war between designers desperate to dress her for her first big appearance at the ESPY Awards next week and RadarOnline.com has learned she's finally picked the lucky winner!
"Caitlyn Jenner has decided to wear a dress designed by Patricia Field, who is not only amazingly talented, but also a huge supporter of the transgender community," a source close to the Kardashian clan tells RadarOnline.com.
A rep for Fields told RadarOnline.com, "We can't comment on that yet."
Jenner's fitting for the dress took place last week, when she was in New York City filming for her highly anticipated upcoming reality show I Am Cait. On Tuesday, the 6'2" leggy brunette was seen leaving the store of Emmy-winning costume designer Field in a flashy rainbow sequin skirt.
However, RadarOnline.com has learned that her visit with Field was pre-planned, as the windows of the shop were all covered with white sheets and she was accompanied by E! cameras who were filming the big moment for an upcoming episode of her new show.
Jenner emerged a few hours later with Field, who is a huge LGBTQ activist that rose to fame while working as a stylist on the long-running show, Sex & The City.
On the same day that Jenner had her fitting, Field shared on her Instagram the cover photo of Kim Kardashian in Rolling Stone Magazine, wearing a hat that was designed by none other than herself, along with a shout-out that said, "Sailor hat from our shop! Thanks @carlynecerfdedudzeele!#redheadmafia approved?❤️@kimkardashian #patriciafield
On July 15, Jenner will make her first big public appearance when she accepts the Arthur Ashe Courage Award at the ESPY's in Los Angeles. She has announced she will skip the red carpet, however, as the release of surveillance video of her fatal Malibu car crash was released earlier this week.
